Lisa Angell & Nick Doms
The book Whispers is the result of a two-year journey both of us enjoyed and enhanced our lives with many exciting experiences.
We wrote our poems individually and independent of each other with the goal to intermingle them and let the differences in style and topic become similarities and vice versa, thus creating our Poetic Symbiosis.
This book is proof of what poets can achieve in mind and spirit no matter the physical distance.
The result is an extraordinary collection of individual poems that all blend together, from Inceptions to Ineluctability and any stage in between.
Poetry is a very personal reflection of thoughts, emotions and feelings.
It shares with others how we feel, think and express ourselves.
To be able to achieve such between two poets from miles away and yet be able to incorporate individual emotions in one single book is truly amazing.
Our souls, emotions and feelings are clearly embedded in our poetry.
What is more important is that you, as the reader, find your meanings in your own time and space.
May all of you not only find the power and meaning of poetry, but may you also experience the journey this book represents and everything that is possible.
May our inspirations give rise to your colors.
And may our Whispers forever give rise to your new inspirations.

Nick Doms
Nick Doms grew up in a small village in Belgium near Antwerp. In 1984, Nick was summoned for military service and moved to Soest, Germany for 9 months to be trained as a Medic and specialist with the Green Berets.
Alter his military service, he moved to Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels and finally New York, where he met his second wife. His job continued to demand relocation to London, Luxemburg, Tokyo, Sydney and Hong Kong.
I was not until 2001 that he settled down in histotic and beautiful Savannah, where he exchanged his banking career for a simple pencil and paper.
He indulged himself in the simplicity of words and languages that somehow could translate experiences, not felt or seen by others.
The persistence resulted in the publication of two poetry books:
Inspirational for a day (2003)
Colors (2005)
Both are available at Authorhouse.com or your neighborhood bookstore.
In the process, he has found his mission, his perspective and his destiny.
He continues to create art in its broadest definition possible, whether through writing, drawing, painting or designing.
He believes such powers are within all of us, if not for anything other than the sheer fact of our creation, which was and continues to be a power we wish to attain, but will never reach.
Such is our destiny, meant to be. Walk and use the power, never knowing the final destination.
Just enjoy the walk.
Destiny will take care of itself.
You Make Me Dream
You make me dream of things
Things long forgotten
Forgotten thoughts, forgotten feelings
Feelings not new, just hidden away
Away out of sight or out of mind
Mind games, heart games
Games of fun, games of chances
Chances not taken, there were other directions
Directions full of hope
Hope of a future calm and serene
You make me dream of things
Things stirring deep inside
Inside of me wanting to get out
Out in the open, you make me feel
Feel the reality slowly closing in
In a world of black and white
White knights do not show up often
Often it seems as if life might fly away
Away from me, giving me no hope
Hope of a future calm and serene
My Desire
Crawling inside your body
Warm and comfortable
Get a sense of what is inside
Reading your newspaper.
Understanding the emotions
One feeling at a time
Construct and build
A picture outside.
Need to move up
Closer to your brain<
