Ray Parker
The Healing Peace is a poetry book having healing poems.
These poems were written with the intent to help those suffering
in their healing process.
The power of these poems is in both the emotions and the ideas
that they have.
The emotions come from the depth of a heart
that suffered and in its suffering realized the unbounded love
found in the heart of each one of us.
The ideas were the
revelations of the Spirit in moments of deep thought.
Ray Parker graduated with a B.A in philosophy. He was an ESL teacher in Japan. His crticial health condition brought him to the global healing culture. This culture helped to regain his good health. Inspired by the healing process he had to go through he began writing in order to help others heal. He currently lives in Canada.
Healing
I have known all sorts of pain
Degradation, insults and loss of loved ones
I have also known pain that I feel ashamed to write about
I have never believed in crying
Or showing my weakness
I was proud and arrogant
I was simply stubborn
Stubborn to what life wanted to teach me
I took a lot of stress as a result
And I never opened
It kept piling
Till I broke
Then something beautiful happened
Life extended Her love to me
For the first time in my life I cried
I cried bitter tears
And I began searching for my healing
I read books about the subject
And something became clear to me
Clear like the striking of thunder
It was wounds and pain had a purpose
I didn't accept this at first
I rejected it
But the pain and the feeling of being hurt became deeper
It was suggested in the books
In order to heal one has to forgive
I also rejected this as well
For the second time I cried my tears of pain
And for the second time
Life extended Her love to me
I listened this time and matured
I found a meaning in my pain
And I forgave
I began to heal and it felt good
I continued reading
My perspectives opened and widened
I learnt from Life to love and not be selfish
I learnt to listen and share
I learnt to give and not only take
Life has its lessons to teach us
Maybe this is one of the major goals in life
To learn and mature
And then we begin to grow and heal
