The book was written over the course of eleven years. None of the selections in this book were easy to write as they pertain to personal and impersonal experiences. The impersonal selections are based on things I hear and see on a daily basis but never fully experience, and of course the personal I have fully experienced. These poems were originally written to have music accompany them and hopefully one day they will. Hope you enjoy the book.

I saw you for the first time today
I knew you before in a previous life
You’ve never left my mind, I’ve never forgot your face
We’re on separate paths, on different destinations
Maybe one day we’ll meet in the middle
And that our dreams become a realization
And the journey begins
When I hear you speak it’s like I’m talking to an angel in human form
And when you’re by my side I’m no longer afraid to fall asleep and dream
Because I know you’ll be there in the morning saving me from the world
I can only see in black and white
And you make me feel alive
Your voice lulls me to an endless peace, a medium I’ve never explored
I can conquer the darkness of the universe and all the prophets of doom
When I look into your eyes, bewitching
I saw you for the first time today
I knew you in a previous life
You’ve never left my mind, I’ve never forgot your face
And maybe we can get things right this time
The journey continues………….
