About the Book
Root Rooster is a book that I wrote to help teach children about learning small but useful lessons. This particular story tells about why you should never tease anyone, because it is hurtful. There are also a couple of other small little lessons in it as well. Root, along with his two best friends..Iggy Pig and Chucky Duck have a great time sharing many adventures. This is the first book in a series of Root Rooster. I hope that you all enjoy this book as much as my children do.
About the Author
I live in a small community in Northwest Arkansas with my wonderful husband Jerry. Together we have 5 daughters, 3 of which are still young and live at home with us. We have truely been blessed with such a gift of our daughters. I give full credit to all that I have been blessed with having to God. Without him, nothing is possible. I am interested in fishing and I love to cook with my daughters. I also write some poetry, and am currently working on more Root Rooster books. My goal is to write at least 5 in my series. I already have three written and look forward to many more. Thank you in advance for buying my books. God Bless you All!

Once upon a time there was this little rooster. His name was Root. He lived on a farm with a lot of other animals. It was time for Root to start going to school and he didn't want to go."Root! Root! It's time to get up and get ready for your first day of school." Exclaimed the little roosters excited mother. "I AM NOT GOING TO SCHOOL!!!" shouted Root as he pulled the blankets back over his head.

"Yes dear. You must go to school. There you will learn to read and write. You will have such fun with all the other children. Some of your other friends will be there." Mother Hen told him as she pulled the blankets back from his head."Who will be there?" he asked her. "Well," she said. "there will be Chucky Duck there... and I am sure that Iggy the Pig will also be there."
