For a thousand years afetr a horrific war against the forces of dark there was a period of peace for the people of Bycanium. People began to relax despite signs of brewing trouble as signs through trolls, goblins, dark witches and wizard and other dakr creatures started mysteriously appearing and attacking the people. According to legend these were ominous signs of the return of the Evil One a poewrful Dark Lord that could only be defeated by the legendary Mystical Shining Sword. Through many several events Nicholai Fisher meets Winter, Shelly and Zach along the way as they travel eastward to and through the mystical Ice Moutain and its caverns to obtain the only weapon that can return peace to the world.

His works include The Legends of Bycanium: The Mystical Shining Sword and upcoming book titled The Monster Book Chronicles. He is currently working on another fantasy seires for the entire family and lives in Coffee Springs, Alabama.
Prologue
There was a time before Bycanium was united under a king’s rule that the world was engaged in a terrible war. The war had raged on for many years and had been devastated the world. The deaths and destructed that followed the war were catastrophic as the war had divided the world into many regions.
The war began as a conflict between two different groups of wizards and knights. One group of wizards and knights were lead by the dark wizard named Chun Hatasmi. Chun Hatasmi had come from the far eastern part of Bycanium and had been practicing magic and sword fighting for quite some time. Chun led a group of wizards and knights against the elders of the Council of Wizards and the other wizards and knights of Bycanium. The conflict began when Chun and his followers became enraged with the Wizard Council’s decision to allow a non wizard to rule Bycanium. Chun Hatasmi believed that wizards and witches should be in control of all aspects of the government as they were given their abilities so that they could govern the people.
The conflict between Chun Hatasmi and the Wizard Council got more tense as the years passed. The first major battle of the war occurred when Chun Hatasmi and his followers attacked the Temple of Magic. The Temple of Magic, which was located in Toron, had been a safe haven and training ground for young witches and wizards was totally destroyed by Chun and his forces. Everyone knew the conflict between Chun Hatasmi and the Wizard Council had intensified but no one had foreseen the upcoming war.
