About the Book

Originally written as a gift for his two young sons, the inspiration for this book has turned into a pursuit to help cure pediatric cancer. Anthony has decided to donate a portion of all proceeds from his book to "Alex's Lemonade Stand", a local charity geared toward finding a cure for pediatric cancer or medicines that prolong a child's life until a cure can be found.  He hopes you will join him in his quest by supporting this cause.

This story is about a little boy who is bored and looking for someone to play with. While walking in his yard, he finds this stick that begins talking to him.  Although he can't believe the stick is actually talking to him, they engage in conversation about all the fun things they can do together and all the while the stick is claiming to be "magic." Throughout the day, they do all sorts of fun things together, including pretending to be a "powerful warrior".

In the end, friendships are realized and the magic of the stick is revealed.  The moral of the story is that "Friends come in many different shapes, sizes and colors.  They are there when you need them the most and appear when you least expected."
