Claire Power Murphy
The true story of a life
touched by a
Former Head of
The Criminal Lawyers'
Association of
The United States
and a
Former President of
The International Academy of
Preventive Medicine.
The highlight of that life remains
when the author's low birth-weight
high risk intensive care baby
was improving and then removed,
slipping to a condition of cerebral palsy.
Following four agonizing months,
when finally returned
Laurie improved physically and mentally
each and every year to earning by age eighteen
a brown belt in karate and
a scholarship in
Engineering Physics!
Claire Power Murphy received a dean's list B.A. in History and an M.S. in Elementary Education from Hunter College. Later she acquired a Sixth-Year Certificate in Administration and Supervision from Richmond College granting her lifetime entitlement to administer at all levels of the public school system in New York State. Both colleges are now a part of The City University of New York.
Claire has come from a very sickly backgound as did both of her children. Neither of her children are now retarded or suffering from the symptoms of cerebral palsy.
Through a special natural lifestyle the author has helped many overcome disease and flourish in the confidence of knowing how to help themselves thereby having the opportunity to improve for the rest of their lives.
Claire now offers this hope and possibility to all who have suffered with health problems, been improperly diagnosed, been told that there is no known cure for their condition and/or that they have a limited time to live.
Claire is a lifetime member of Cambridge Who's Who - her web address is http://www.cambridgewhoswhoconnect.com/profile/ClairePowerMurphy

As Director of The Self-Rejuvenation Center Claire invites you to go beyond current thinking to envision a positive, progressive life. Following the reading of Preserved to Serve, you may choose to contact the center which is primarily a teaching institution where one can learn how to balance their particular blood chemistry to supply its needs. The lifeline IS the blood!
I couldn't tell Dr. Poppit that Laurie's Hgl was rising as she had refused to let me know the results of her tests.
Here is the conversation that took place when next I received a life altering phone call.
Me: "Hello, who is this?"
Social Worker (on her first case): "We're coming to get your baby!"
Me: "What?"
Social Worker: "We've had a report that your baby is in imminent danger of dying."
Me: "May I please speak wih your supervisor?"
Social Worker: "I'm sorry, he's busy."
Stunned I hung up. My immediate reaction was to take my baby and flee. The problem was that I had no where to go and no money with which to do it.
I phoned Bill and Charlie to come home immediately!
Second Call from BCW: I explained that I lived and taught in the same neighborhood, and that an entourage of state officials arriving at the apartment and removing my baby would hardly go unnoticed.
We agreed to meet at the hospital.
