Out of the blue, on one dark night, my house lit up. I jumped out of my bed to investigate. So much had happened over the years, I could not imagine what this could be. What can light up a house in the middle of the night to make it look like daytime? The house suddenly became dark again. I went to the window to look around. I could see that the moon was not out and the lights nearby were all turned off. The lights nearby were never turned off. Was the power out? I flipped the light switch and the light came on in my room. I thought the power failure must be localized. That could not be the case either. As I scanned the surrounding area outside, I could see a bright light shining down from the sky, coming closer to my home. The bright light was like a gigantic flashlight. The ray coming from the flashlight was touching the ground below. Picture a gigantic flashlight being held up in the sky (without a hand), shining its beam on the land below. That is what I was seeing outside coming my way. I could not see the flashlight object well enough to get a fix on its shape. The light ray was too bright, and without other lights in the area to assist me with some rebound light, I had to wait until it was closer to my home. The object continued to come closer towards my home. I stood in the window prepared to view this object head on. When the light from the object hit just a speck of my residence, my whole house lit up. From one end to the other, my house was now lit as though it was daylight. The area outside and for as far as I could see remained dark, while my house was lit up as if it were daylight. It was the middle of the night, and my home was lit with the light of day. How could that be? What was this object and what did it want with my home? I could not hear the object coming. However, when the object was overhead, I could hear like a fan noise. It was extremely quiet. I could see what appeared to be a porch all around the part headed towards me. I could not tell if it had edges or if it was round. There simply was not enough outside light to help me see the object clearly. Its bright light transmission was absorbing everything. When it finished passing over my home, my house became dark again. Again, I could no longer hear any sound from the object. What was this and why were the neighboring lights out this particular evening when the moon was nowhere to be seen? I was anxious to see the papers the next day to see what was reported to the news. The paper did not print anything on this subject. Was I the only one that night who saw this quiet light? What now? There had to be a way to sort through all of this. Was I visited that night by a unidentified flying object, a military experiment, or something else? Was it intended for me to view or was it just a coincidence that I was in its path? I did learn something from this experience. There is a light source out there that can light up a home with just a small amount of its beam to make it appear like daylight throughout my entire home. I mean, it was the type of daylight that you would see in a home with all your blinds and doors open. This was an unidentified flying object (UFO) to me because I had no way to identify the object. How would something or someone use a giant flashlight from the sky?
I did not need to know the source to determine what I felt that night. I felt as though something violated my home. It did not matter who was holding the flashlight. The tool must have been able to perform more than a light show. The fact was that it more than likely could penetrate my living space; it more than likely was capable of much more. My home, my family and I, were violated that night, and I do not know the source. Sometimes I feel as though this is all too much for one person to ponder. How many sources are at work all around us and how do we sort through the unknown? I do not have the answer, but I am always searching for a meaning or understanding. When the answer is not yet available, I ponder.
