About the Book

A young language student travels to far western Pakistan to learn how to translate a mysterious language found on twelve ancient stone tablets. The oldest of the tablets dates to thirty thousand years ago.

Powerful cosmic events signal to religious leaders around the world that humankind has entered the ‘End of Times’ as foretold by the Bible’s Revelations.

The famous epigraphist Doctor Gideon Law announces that he has translated the messages on the stone tablets. According to Doctor Law, the alphabet of the thirty-thousand-year-old language correlates exactly with the organic structure of human DNA.

Because Doctor Law’s announcement coincides with world-wide fears of the End of Times, the press begins calling the twelve stone tablets the ‘End of Times Stones’ and clamors for their meanings. In response, Doctor Law presents his findings to the prestigious Council of World Religions. The cryptic messages he reveals though seem meaningless and appear to reference locations in some missing ancient document.

Doctor Myla de Naci, a geneticist attending the presentation, recognizes the messages as addresses in human DNA. She and Doctor Law agree to work together to find and translate the messages. They uncover a genetic war that has raged between God and Satan for the last thirty thousand years. Eventually they find that they are no longer scientific observers, but key players in the ongoing battles.

About the Author

James Rutledge was born in Freeport, Texas on December 1, 1941. Rutledge later moved with his family to Houston, Texas where he graduated from high school in 1960. He worked for three years in the Texas oil fields before deciding to go to college. In 1963 he enrolled at the University of Houston where in 1966 he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Journalism. After graduation, he went to Clear Lake City, Texas to work for NASA.  Rutledge eventually left NASA and went into private industry.

An amateur archaeologist and geneticist, Rutledge is focusing his attention on events in the Old Testament, “I think the science of genetics can be used to explain many mysterious events in the Bible. For instance, it seems more reasonable to accept that Moses came down from Mt. Sinai with the Ten Commandments and the Torah burned into his DNA by the mysterious ‘burning bush’ than carrying large stone tablets that no one in the world could read at that time.” Learn more, visit my website at: http://www.arrivaloftheprince.com.

Introduction

Scientists have discovered divine messages in human DNA and cosmic forces have been set in motion in anticipation that humans will soon be able to read them.

It was thirty thousand years ago and it was cold in the Cave of the Red Serpent. The old man, the one with the crippled leg, had gone outside to relieve himself. He brought back several small sticks and twigs and added them to the dying fireit was hardly enough to warm the large cavern. Manaa stirred and changed positions, uncomfortable in her pregnancy. The winged creature had told her she would have a son and that she should call him Ta Hadam. The clan in the cave spoke a language that consisted of barely one hundred words. Her primitive brain grappled with the complicated ideas that the winged being had spoken into her mind. Restless, she turned over to find a new position, the thoughts made her uneasy; she was different from the others in the cave.

Now seven weeks into her pregnancy, Manaa was unaware that an ancient gene had stirred to life in the fetus in her womb. The gene was reading a two-billion-year-old blueprint, assembling a stem cell and a prescribed mixture of amino acids. The gene began building a brain neuron. As it had for millions of years, the gene created the end of the neuron with smooth cell wall extensions called dendritesbranches designed to overlap with other neurons in her son’s brain to form dendrite networks. His consciousness and thoughts would exist in these networks.

Somewhere above her, there was the prospect of a war in heaven. Massive intellects argued for control of what was happening in Manaa’s womb…

The ancient gene had mutated! This time the dendrite at the end of the neuron was different—thousands of tiny spines covered its surface. Industrious, infallible, mindlessly, the gene worked for a month building millions of the mutated neurons. The new spines facilitated vastly denser dendrite networks, yielding better and higher-bandwidth connections. The new and modern higher-brain functions of creativity and imagination now existed within these denser networks.

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels going forth to war with the dragon; and the dragon warred and his angels; And they prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him. (--- Revelation 12:7-9)

On earth, the primitive people knew the great serpent and named him Yeshuthe word in their language for ‘beast.’ Frustrated that he had lost the heavenly war and believing that the infant male in Manaa’s womb was a threat to him, Yeshu attacked his daughter and attempted to kill her.
