Denise Lynch Van Houten
A Friendship to be Thankful For is the story of an unlikely friendship that forms between two little girls. The bond between the children is strong enough to bring about trust and understanding between the Native Americans and Pilgrims of a new world.
Denise Lynch Van Houten has been writing poems and short stories since early childhood. Until now, all of them have been for friends and family. After being prodded by those closest to her, Denise put pen to paper and completed her first book A Friendship to be Thankful For. Always a lover of drawing, Denise also took on the challange of illustrating the book as well. Denise was born and raised in New Jersey and is a graduate of Montclair State Unniversity. She currently lives in northern New Jersey with her husband and two teenage daughters.
