A Red Fox Tale
My name is “Fox”.
This story is true about my friendship with a human, JJ.
I live in a state park near the ocean.
Her yard is my meadow.
I visit while she tends her garden and takes pictures of me.
Though we respect each other’s space, I chose to come near.
I don’t allow her to pet me, for I’m a fox you see, living wild and free in the park by the sea!

A native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Judith Strickland Robinson, “Jamie” to her friends, expresses her love of nature through Photography and Poetry. Her favorite book, “A Kinship with All Life”, best captures her Mother Earth Spirit.
An alumnus of Norfolk Academy and the University of South Carolina, Jamie taught Elementary Education. She is published in The National Library of Poetry “The Music of Silence”.
Jamie lived in Hawaii for a time inspired by all of the Islands wonders!
