Why would anyone want to write a book about common sense, proclaiming that everyone does not have it? In my life of 41 years, I have met hundreds of people of varying education levels and of all professions. I have friends who are doctors, engineers, attorneys, educators, bankers and a few that possess doctorates in fields from education to psychology. One thing I can say about all of them is that I have from time to time seen occasions where they did not exercise common sense. I too have been accused of not using common sense when it comes to certain situations, so I include myself in this number and by no means intend to offend anyone. Rather, I am taking this opportunity for self-healing (they say the first step towards recovery is admission). I am writing this book because I believe that this book can help anyone who wants help, by sharing my thoughts in the area of financial awareness mixed with a little bit of the lessons taught by life. This book is my perspective on what it takes to start the wealth-building process for you and the ones you love. If I speak on anything that helps you, then I will consider the book a success. If, on the other hand, you do not find anything in this book helpful, then you should consider yourself in the minority and one of the fortunate ones that exercises common sense all of the time because … Common sense ain’t common. If it were, everyone would use it!
