Bernice and Andy Tate are a pair of South Carolina children’s book  authors/illustrators who, through their creativity and caring, have made it their life work to create meaningful, educational entertainment for children, starting with work in television in the 1970’s. For years, they touched kids’ lives with creative, inspired works on the small screen and in art galleries. Upon retiring, the attentions of this amazing couple turned to the written word, and the first result of  this new mission was Storybooks-4-KidsTM  , an independent publishing  project, featuring themes of multiculturalism, acceptance, bullying and the power of diversity for children.

Their goal is to place original  storybooks, in easy-to-read language, accompanied with bright, cheerful illustrations, in the lives of children everywhere.  Their vision is to encourage the development of acceptance while celebrating the fun of  reading through the magic of storybooks
