About the Book
HE LOVED HIS BUSINESS...

Howard Buchanan, had loved once and it failed.  The only real happiness he found from his marriage and today was his 4 year old daughter, Cheyenne and his restaurant businesses.  It wasn't hard to find that dating after marriage wasn't all that it was said to be.  Baby mama drama and being too young for motherhood was just a few excuses women used to not stay around.  Howard and Cheyenne were a packaged deal.  Maybe love a second time around wasn't in the cards.

HER BUSINESS WAS HER LIFE...

Delfina Hamilton refused to believe in love at first sight, or love at all.  Sure she's heard stories, her parents and grandparents swore by it, but it wasn't like cupid was dropping it into her lap.  Her first real love was in college.  She was into him and he was trying to get into her pants.  He had a record to break....most women in a single semester.
Delfina is the co-owner of one of the largest decorating/design companies in Los Angeles.  Their clientel go as far as Europe, that in itself has it's rewards.  But not even big money clients and your name in lights can keep you warm at night.  Maybe she wasn't capable of love.

THEN THEIR EYES MET...

"So, this is what falling in love really feels like."

Howard, seeing her uneasiness winked and gave her a very seductive, dimpled smile.

"I've found you again and I'm not letting you get away from me.

She then released a sigh of relief.

"Howard, about the kiss.  Please don't think I make a habit of kissing any and every man I meet.  I usually keep men at a distance, it's just that I have never been attracted to anyone at first sight. Until you."

He took her hand and lifted it to his mouth and kissed her palms.  "I've never felt this way about anyone either, but I know what we could do about it," he smiled.

"What's that?" she asked, returning with a smile of her own.

     "Let's get married?

     "WHAT?"

"I'm serious."  She looked up into his eyes and knew what he was saying was indeed true.
"You are serious.  We need to go back a few minutes, rewind.  Can we have a couple of dates before we make that kind of decision?"

"Sure.  At least you didn't say, NO."

     "No.  I guess I didn't, did I?

All he did was shake his head.  He knew that one day he would marry this woman.  He's thought of no other woman since the first time he saw her.  Unbeknowest to her, he already had the wedding ring.
