This book is for our soldiers as a reminder throughout their journey to keep building their faith and to remain strong until they return safely home. Let this book serve as inspiration from home and a huge thank you for believing in what this country has to offer. A sincere thank you for believing that the people of The United States of America are worth fighting for. Our liberty is of high value and we are so thankful for you and your dedication. Ashley Ann Serafin is co-author in Guerilla Networking with Jay Conrad Levinson and Monroe Mann. She works as a manager for a wholesaler in the craft and stationery industry in New Jersey and is also an actress in the New York City area. She has performed in theatre, film, and modeling. Ashley Ann is a graduate of Wayne Valley high school and continued to study acting with The NJ School of Dramatic Arts and Monroe Mann's Unstoppable Business School in New York City. First and foremost, a BIG thank you to all those who have served our country. We at home are proud to call you our own. My main focus for writing this book was to serve as a small token of thanks to our military. As I thought more about the book, my focus turned to sharing hope with our troops and to shed light on what has always been in their hearts. My purpose is to help them maintain their focus so they come home shining to their family and friends.
I believe our military are the most outstanding, strong, and considerate people on this earth. To make the decision to stand for those who believe in you is the most highly courageous act. Unfortunately, it is the least recognized. My goal is to give recognition to those who have earned and deserved this honor.
Every night, Americans are able to rest peacefully. Each day, Americans can live freely from moment to moment. Thank you for your sacrifices, your unconditional love for humankind, and your overwhelming desire for a better future. You have left your families, your lives, and your country to pave a path not only for our future but also for generations to come.
I cannot express the gratitude in my heart to those who have such great strength to stand for our country. Thank you for your vision of a better future, for being so selfless to think of and protect your fellow Americans. Thank you for your dedication to our country. Thank you for taking a stand and defending those you love, those you have yet to meet, and those who are not aware of the genuine sacrifices that you make on a daily basis.
This book is designed to be read along your journey. There are fifty-two chapters, one for each week for an entire year. Each chapter has a different focus. It can be read in order of the chapters, it can be read by chapter as needed, whatever your wishes are. The point is to stay strong, and remain grounded in your faith, love, and beliefs. Stay true to your vision and know that we support you every moment of every day. Allow this book to be a reminder that you are thought of daily. I pray that this book guides you on an emotional level and keeps your path visible at all times.
I know there have been nights that never seem to end and days that seem everlasting, holidays that come and go without the feeling of joy—all sacrificed for us at home. We are proud of you, we love you, and we wait for you to come home safe. Relax your thoughts … know that every minute of every day a prayer is being sent out to you.
