The CityDome goes up fast with many workers and Nano-tech. Some of the workers are staying at the CityDome and bring their families there to find work. The workers bring their children with them and find that the schools aren't ready, some people do not think Mars is a place for humans to grow. There are many jobs at the CityDome, but they are being filledfast by the people that helped build this big citydome.
One of the workers is so overwhelmed by the city that he doesn’t give his family much choice but tomoveto Mars with him. He is surprised that his wife and daughter settle in to life on Mars so easily and they enjoy the activities in this citydome.
Three young college graduates get a graduation present that helps them find work on Mars. Their parents wanted to experience Mars and decide to bring their sons as a college graduation present. The three sons bring along there three girl friends with them and they tour the CityDome while their parents stay at the MarsTent complexes. Their parents dream of retiring to or working at Mars with their sons nearby.
There are a lot of things happening at Mars. There are races and other extremesports going on in the CityDome and in the MarsTents. The MarsDomes complex is in between the city and the tents, so before the sons go to meet there parents at the tents they stop at the MarsDomes and take a tour of the Science Dome and see how things have developed on Mars.
When they meet their parents, they have a lot to talk about as they spend the day in Tent B. Tent B is a sports complex with racing, basketball, golf, and other sports with a big activity restaurant in it.
I wrote these books because I wanted to get away from my life but, taking a vacation wasn’t enough. I wanted to go to a different world like in the Star Trek series, but that isn’t likely to happen. So I came up with a story that could possibly happen someday in the not too distant future. With technology moving as it is right now it should take about fifty years before the common man can travel to other planets in this solar system.
We can take a vacation to Mars and create new sports and activities to do on Mars. I am encouraging you to open your mind and dream up a vacation to Mars according with my books. If this book sells good, then I would be more likely to write a book of short stories about vacationing on Mars. Let me know about your vacation and any additions you would like on Mars and maybe I will put together a book of short stories. I would give you credit and payment for your short stories, if I was to use them.

When the Maglev was creeping up to the city dome Mary was looking over the seat in front of hers to get a better look and her eyes were getting bigger as the big dome got closer, quickly. “Wow, is that the city dome? Man you weren’t kidding when you said it was big.” With one last look up at the dome they entered as the Maglev came to a stop.
Rachel was looking all around with Adam trying to keep her in her seat as they enter the dome. After the Maglev stopped the load speakers told the passengers how to exit and where to go if they were new arrivals. Adam led his wife and daughter to the check in counter where they had to fill out some papers and let them scan there I.D. Cards and take a 3D picture of their faces. Rachel thought it was so cool how she saw the 3D representation next to the camera that took her picture on a monitor and that she got her own I.D. Card also. After they were all singed in Adam led them down to the big subway station.
Mary starts down the escalator wide eyed, “There’s a city down here.”
“Yah it is big, but this station just has one Tran stopping here, and it has a big welcoming center with a lot of stores and restaurants. You should see the G terminal that is under the big mall it has three Trans crossing through it and it has everything you see here and more.”
Mary was looking around and stopped, “I thought you said it was under a mall, so why does it need all that, underground?”
“Well this city was made to hold more than four million residents, and even though you thought this dome looked big it’s just a square mile, so they built two cities.”
Rachel looks up, “They made two cities in this dome.”
“Well yes, they made an underground city first with all of the subways.”
“So, we are living in the subway, cool.” Rachel says with a young innocent look on her face.
Mary looks over, “No dear, we aren’t really living in the subway,” with a look at Adam, “Are we?
Adam smiles, “They made Reagan terminal too big, so they put in apartments at the one end.” Adam looked at his wife and the smile on his daughters face, “Oh, it’s back away from where the Tran stops.”
“But aren’t the subways crowded?” Mary asked with a look of worry on her face.
“Not yet, and there are the Trolleys that run at every street, so they shouldn’t get crowded.”
Mary was quickly relieved as they were getting on the Tran. She was looking around and saw empty seats, so she thought, ‘it’s not crowded’ Mary sits with Rachel, “Stay close I don’t want to lose you on our first day here.”
Adam smiles at the two of them, ‘I’m glad Mary did make a big fuss about coming here, I guess that firm letter worked.’
Will was watching a recap of last Saturdays Pod Race, Chuck and ray came out of their rooms when they heard the announcer call out, “Oh, Did You See That? That Pod just got ran over.”
The boys were watching the exciting recaps when Krista came out saying, “I’m finished Will you can unpack.”
Will sat up for a second, “Oh I’ll get to it later.”
Krista rolled her eyes and took a seat on the couch by the wall. Carol and Kim came out of the bedroom saying, “Let’s go out and see the city tonight.” They dragged the boys away from the monitor for a Sunday night out for dinner and to walk around the block.
They found a nice restaurant that had a band that was pretty good so they stayed to dance some after finishing their meals. Kim wanted to see what was around the block, so she dragged them all out of the restaurant. They first stopped at the community center to get information and Chuck and Ray found that the work in the city dome was much like in every city.<
