Introduction
As you already know, many individuals spend up to four years or more training to get a job that will allow them approximately $45,000 in annual income; but did you know that there are professional careers you could train for in a few weeks and have the potential of earning over $150,000 (realistically) from the comfort of your home. Recruiting is one of such careers. As a matter of fact, a recruiter could earn approximately $25,000 in one placement. And what’s more, you gain from this career the type of experience you could proudly list on your resume; so if for any reason you decide to go back to the world of corporate careers, you have something to show for the time you have been out of the corporate environment.
This book, The Recruiter’s Edge – Comprehensive Training, is designed to give you an overview of independent recruiting, as a career. You will find that with the information you obtain from this manual you can start your own recruiting business as an independent recruiter, almost immediately from your own home office, with minimum overhead.
Like all professions, on-going learning or training can only help one advance their careers; and is highly recommended in this industry. You can find more information on growing your career as a recruiter in the resources section of this book.
