If you would like a new career doing mortgages for a living, or you already do them but want to improve your business, this is the book for you! I have been doing mortgages for alot of years and now want to help others achieve their goals. This will certainly help you make as much money as you dream of making for as long as you want, up to retirement! Don't miss out on a great career that most often can be done working from home. Enjoy your family and make your own schedule! Easy read!
If you saw my resume, you'd know that I have worked for all the big players: M&T, Wells Fargo, Five Star Bank (f.k.a. Bath National Bank), Household Finance Corporation (a.k.a. HFC which is an entity of Household Bank), NovaStar, and others. I have worked under some great people I still look up to today. I learned to be ethical and dedicated and have a wealth of knowledge to share. I have also worked under people who did unethical things, and they are the types of people you have to stay away from to be a success in this business.
I started selling real estate in the late 1980s in Ithaca, New York, influenced by of one of the greatest man I’ve known, Mark Campagnolo. He encouraged me to reach out beyond my limits and “make something of myself.” I waited tables in Mark’s Restaurant in Ithaca, New York, which was called Joe’s Restaurant at the time. Mark now owns The Boat Yard Grill located at the south end of Cayuga Lake, in Ithaca, New York. We planned parts of it way back in the late ’80s, and his dream has come true now because he followed through and his new restaurant is a success. With his help and encouragement, my career in the real estate industry began. Like Mark's goal of his new restaurant, my goal was to do all I did with my career then to write this book that has been on my mind for many years. I hope you read it and reach the same goals I have and enjoy your life. Remember, if you do something you love, you'll never work another day in your life. Help people buy the home of their dreams. You'll love what it does to them and the money will follow!!!
Keep in mind that you should treat every client you come upon as a friend for life. A mortgage originator will help their customers reach goals throughout their lifetime, not just for one house, but you need to let customers know that you’re there for them for now on. Talk to them about the future from day one and build that into your solicitation file.
