I am a forty year- old black professional female. I am a single mother of four. I am the product of the broken marriage statistics. I am the sole provider for my family. I have lived a life full of overwhelming tests, trials and defeats. I have suffered much harm at the hands of others as well as myself. Yet, there has always been a desire to share my story. Sharing my life is not to glorify it or the circumstances surrounding my life, but to put to bed old demons, family curses, and a stinking way of thinking. I have gotten to a point where I want to be true to myself, own up to my short comings and take responsibility for my life now and in the future. I have learned a great deal about people and myself. The greatest triumph with the greatest impact is the choice I made to follow God. If I help just one other human being with this testimony, I feel God will be pleased with me.
