About the Book

Kuxan Suum, Path to the Center of the Universe is the awe-inspiring story of Da’Lau, a young woman who travels through space in search of knowledge and truth. In this tale of the impossible, the improbable, and the fantastic, the girl crosses planets, nebulas, the Milky Way and other galaxies, describing in her path a vision of the heavens. Throughout her intergalactic voyage, Da’Lau becomes one with the stars, as her transcendental path takes her to the center of the Universe.

Kuxan Suum is a metaphor that presents a sketch of human spaceflight, illustrated with stunningly beautiful views of space taken by the Hubble Space Telescope. Da’Lau takes us on a journey through our magnificent Universe, highlighting especially the enormous cosmic distances, infinite when compared with respect to our human space-time scale, giving us a perspective of its complexity and size. The thread that stitches Kuxan Suum is its surreal invocation of travel through the cosmos—the sublime, the practical, and the science.

Da'Lau was born under the spell of the Pleiades. Swinging in her cradle, the infant princess would gaze a the night sky, awestruck by the glorious beauty of the stars......

........................................

Da’Lau continued her voyage across the universe, seeing what mere mortals could not. Her body was a glimmer of light as the stars rose in jagged flashes, guiding her across celestial paths known only to those who seek wisdom. The girl’s eyes shone, reflecting the radiance of giant stars whose immaculate light has traveled the vast distances of the cosmos to illuminate the paths of every man and woman who has ever lived. As the princess flew among the dazzling stars, the celestial breeze hummed a tender lullaby, a song so pure and enchanting, a serenade of the cosmos. Da’Lau was rendered a luminary herself by the stardust of that heaven.

The princess traveled at the speed of light, and yet her voyage was long. But her desire to learn and discover kept her from falling into the shadowy recesses between the bright and dark stellar matter. In the cosmic void, her sense of spacetime was truly high dimensional.
