James M. Penny
Are you a “motionaire” networker?
Where are you on the CCLN scale?
Are you an S, F, or N?
Are you networking with gains, drains, or plains?
How many qualified referrals should you expect
each month from your network?
If you can’t answer these questions about your personal network, it’s time to find out how the superstars do it. Inside is all of the information you need to get the people you know to make you more successful than you ever dreamed possible!
For more than thirty years, Jim Penny has been helping people achieve success. Since he first wrote the Standards of Knowledge about the management functions and skills in the 1970s, Jim has been putting his words into action. While building multi-million dollar organizations utilizing his skills and knowledge, he has taught hundreds of people how to change their organization by managing better. His e-learning programs have been distributed to six continents.
Jim achieved sales stardom in the software industry selling multi-million dollar deals in numerous countries. He has both managed and taught sales professionals how to exceed their quotas in intense, competitive, and technologically challenging environments. Jim’s clients have included entrepreneurs and Fortune 500s.
Jim brings his unique skill sets as an educator, motivator, communicator, and technologist to his new offering, Networking Genius (Getting the people you know to make you more successful than you ever dreamed possible!). The book’s guidelines work for anyone whose success is dependent on how well they work with other people.
The book’s N10 10 Step SystemSM is the basis of the new Internet “success” networking site, MyN10.com. Once again, Jim is putting his words into action.
“Networking,” the phenomenon that is such a major part of many of our lives today, wasn’t even included in mainstream conversation as little as thirty years ago. In fact, the World Book Dictionary of 1984 has only three entries under the word “network.” The later two are network analysis and network analyst, and the first has no relationship to what we currently call “networking.” Today, tens of millions of people (from all age groups) readily admit to being “networkers.” Some of the “social networking” Web sites dedicated to kids already exceed 100 million users.
We’ve come a long way since the 1980s. Much like convenience stores, there seems to be a networking group on every corner and, if you count all of the coffee shops, networking is happening even between the corners!
We’ve finally coined a label that describes what we do in our interactions with other people. However, attempting to get what we want by working with other people is not new. All of us have been doing this (mostly subconsciously) since our first day of organized school. Some have been more successful at it than others.
This book shows you how to elevate your efforts so that you go to the “head of the class.” It will put you consciously in control, and, if you follow the N10 10 Step SystemSM (N10 SystemSM), you’ll soon be “getting the people you know to make you more successful than you ever dreamed possible!”
Note: There are two words purposely omitted from the preceding statement. As you read on, you’ll surely come to realize what they are and why they don’t belong in the book subtitle.
_____________
Make no mistake—this is a “How To” book. You might be thinking, “If it is, why didn’t you just say, “How to Get” instead of “Getting?” The answer lies in the difference between success and succeeding. This book isn’t just about your success, it’s about succeeding—you succeeding! So, be ready to take action, to put the information in the book to work for you.
The book is also about motivation—motivating you to become the best you can be—and about inspiration. Take positive action, be inspired knowing that others who started off less inclined for success than you have achieved stardom—they’ve become Networking Geniuses.
