Kathie Martin Ossege, author, illustrator, is an award-winning writer. She began writing and drawing when she was a young girl. At the age of twelve, she decided she would publish a book one day. More than four decades later, this book marks the realization of her dream.
Kathie is editor/publisher of the Cincinnati-based magazine Whole Living Journal where her inspirational column, "Soul-ar Energy," appears. She resides in Cincinnati, Oh., with her husband, two standard poodles, her cat and a timid beagle she calls Leo the Fierce.
Chelsea Borgman, illustrator, lives in Cincinnati, Oh. She is a senior at Walnut Hills High School and plans to study art and English at college. For as long as she can remember, Chelsea has loved to draw and paint. Her work has been greatly influenced by her family, all of whom are artists.
