Brenda Muncy is a certified Veterinary Technician. She lives with rheumatoid arthritis and fights the disease with medication and exercise. She continues to care and finds homes for unwanted animals. She has rehabilitated birds of prey and set them free back in the wild from where they came. All the animals in her books live with her on desert land named Critter Acre. Her husband, Don, named it that because of all the animals, wild and domestic that call it home. Her grand daughters are a big part of her life and the reason for writing these books.
