Nine-year-old Mark and his big sister Pip have a special relationship and this particular Christmas they grew even closer. After Mark's handmade Christmas gift to his parents got destroyed he was devastated. Pip wanted very much to help him and make it all better. Although it took until Christmas Eve for the plan to take place, the remarkable results made Mark and Pip's Christmas special and created an unbreakable bond between them.
Stephanie Locking was born and raised in southwestern Ontario and now resides in Vancouver, British Columbia. She has travelled extensively with her husband and has lived in four provinces and two countries. She has kept journals of her adventures and these include spending three months travelling through Asia and Europe with a two-year-old in tow.
She has always enjoyed writing and story telling and has a web journal that she adds to whenever possible. She has two grown children and two grandchildren.This is her second children's book.
Nine year old Mark is looking forward to school today. He and his class have been working hard on their individual handmade Christmas gifts for their parents and Mark is just bursting with pride. But before he can get his finished gift home, disaster strikes and young Mark is devastated.
This story tells how a young boy and his older sister work together to repair the awful events that almost destroyed their holiday but instead made it the most memorable one of all.
