Each poem tells a story. A story that may touch you or someone you know and love.
So much has been compiled here for your enjoyment. Make yourself comfortable. Open this book and read stories/poems that will warm your heart. Stories that I promise will enlighten your soul. Now sit back and take a journey with me. Escape for awhile. Let's go down this road together ~ arm n' arm.
I have been on a journey for a couple of years now. A journey of enlightenment. Trying to find my purpose, the reason for my being. A deep need in me to reach out and touch people's hearts. Either through my poetry, deeds, and/or actions.
A path has emerged. And going down this path was of my choice. I'm still traveling. But, I've made myself aware of my surroundings and the people I've encountered along the way.
I have been truly blessed. Meeting so many wonderful people who have helped my spirit to grow. Learning from my mistakes and vowing to never repeat them. In essence, making myself aware. I have removed my blinders in order to see the whole picture.
This is my journey. We each have our own path. Are you on yours? Are you aware?

Whispered words
I write down
Some make you happy
Some make you frown.
Words with meaning
To enlighten your soul
To help you see
To attain your goal.
Whispered words
To carry on
Pouring out my heart
To be strong.
Being a 'light bearer'
This was chosen
Spread His words
Through my poems.
Different scenarios
Different meanings
Different stories
And different feelings.
All to reach
As many as I can
Determined to succeed
I’ll take a stand.
Words spoken
But not by me
Softly whispered
He holds the key.
Unlocks my mind
So words can flow
Unlocks my heart
So you will know.
