About the Author

What too tell about myself, This is my first book , I've written several poem, none of which has been published . I do how ever like too write. My Mother, would be the first to tell anyone, I've always been the type that, I'm ready too take on the world if I have too. I know I have always had A positive attitude, and I firmly believe, anyone can do anything they want to do if they want to do it badly enough. You have too shoot for the moon and maybe you'll hit A star. You can't get there if you never try, now I'm not well educaded, I;m not complaining, even though you may not have the means too get A good education, your never too old to learn and I learn something new everyday. I believe you should set A gold and take baby steps , one at A time and before you know it you will get to where your going.  I  have learned since writting this story to be more thankful for the little things in life because for Bessie Jenning's it was A constance struggle. This story may be fictional , but there is alot more truth than fiction in it . Bessie Jenning's is the main person in the story, and I often think of her and wonder if I myself could have indured what she went through.Thank You      Patsy Ann Russell/ Biddle : Author Of...........  As I mentioned on the back cover of the book , it started out as A joke. Bessie Jenning's was a real person, who lived back in the early 1800's . She had A grandson by the nameof Robert Jenning's . I have the deed of A mine with his name on it dated August 22/1823, this was what I was looking at when my husband came home from work and ask me what I was doing . I told him I was thinking of writing a novel , his remark was , do it then , so I did.I suppose he thought I would get tired and quit , but that never happen. The more I researched the more interesting it got for me.Like I said the story is fictional , but alot of it is real also . Almost all of the places mantioned in the book my husband and I have traveled too. He's A construction worker , and we have gone from one end of the map to the other and from up too down and all points in between. The story starts , out as Bessie being A young girl . She and s\Sam become good friends then eventually marry.Sam tells Bessie of his dream to move too California , because of the gold rush. When winter turns too spring and they have finally saved the money the story really starts, It tells of there travels and all the folks they meet and the struggles along the way as well as Bessie becoming A young widow , and how Calamity jane convences her to go on.How she is captive and made A slave by the Indians and how she grew too love them and how they loved her, and all of the losses in her life and how she becomes Chief over the whole Cheyenne nation.Just too mention A few of the people she meets, Daniel Boon , Davie Crockett, Jim Bowie, Judge Roy Bean, and alot more.I truly hope who ever, buys this book enjoys the history of it.                                                                                                              Thank You Patsy Ann Russell /Biddle   Author Of ................. Chief Aquase of the Cheyenne Nation
