About the Book

The author’s style or philosophy attempts to embrace tomorrow, with the simplicity of faith and tradition; following in the footsteps of America’s forefathers. Unfortunately, the traditional family is at risk today. Its values must be guarded and nourished within each home. Meaningful church, educational, and democratic involvement will provide a firm foundation for development.

About the Author

Larry graduated from Indiana University about 35 years ago with a graduate degree in education. However, he still remains a loyal Packer fan, Wisconsin cheesehead, and an active Red Cross volunteer. Presently, he, like other educators near retirement, thinks the computer age technology must be used with discretion and taste. Some of his more meaningful experiences focus on aquatics and photography here and abroad. The writer of this brief article, or book, is a member of the John E. West Scout Fellowship and F.A.B.I. (Fellowship of American Biographical Institute). He has had numerous articles published in the local newspaper about reading and literacy, plus the W.S.R.A. Newsletter (Wisconsin State Reading Association) and Scouting Monthly.
