The Methuselah Conspiracy is a jet-setting international sequel to the first suspense work of fiction, The Chatelaine Connection. The same main character Cyrus MacKenna, a horse breeder and legendary Interpol agent, is again teamed up with his granddaughter, Emma Gray Llewelyn, English Barrister and her husband, Carlos Esteves, Director of Interpol’s Northern European Bureau. The mystery around the research Carruchi performed on Emma in the Chatelaine case was never completely revealed. Cyrus’s amnesia prevented him from remembering the kind of research Dr. Ennio Carruchi performed on Emma until he remembered Marcus Rudolphi bragged to him that he and Emma had a child. Knowing Emma never bore a child, he must discover whose child is she? Why is the terrorist organization, Alliance, searching for this same child? The au pair has kept the child hidden from Alliance, Interpol and the House of Chaos. Cyrus alone discovers information where the child could be. Alliance plans to eradicate all obstacles in order to locate this special child–meaning the deaths of Cyrus MacKenna and Carlos Esteves, but not Emma. The secret sophisticated terror faction infiltrates the anticrime organizations involved, leaving only five agents to carry on the search. Abigail Monterrey and Noah Helm are American CIA and FBI agents sent to British NSA. Emma hires Zackary Judd as her new Private Investigator, when in fact Zack’s real job is to keep Emma safe from Alliance. Information comes to Zack that someone he thought dead is still alive and complicating his job to keep Emma out of harm's way. The story begins in France, and moves to the Netherlands where a spectacular confrontation unravels the plot. The reader will learn who and what is the Methuselah Conspiracy in a dramatic twist of fate.

“Wer dort aus ist?” she called out.
The young woman carried her lantern outside the barn toward the
clamoring sounds of falling pails. The silence was filled with the roar of
the wind. She was certain she saw something move in one of the distant
muddy pools of water–something was different around her. She called
out again.
“Ist jemand dort?”
He heard her far away calls. Convulsant contractions prevented him
from speaking as the freezing water slowly covered his numb body. The
only sensations he still felt were his warm tears spilling down his cheeks
quickly mixing with freezing sleet on his face. Soon the pool of water
would completely cover his entire body and face and end it all. The
contents of his jacket pockets floated out into the water and sank to the
bottom of the pool. He laid there. Mentally, his mind and body shut
down–no more fight. In a last protective reaction he bit his lips hard to
keep from swallowing the water covering his mouth, tasting the muddy
dirt with his salty bloody saliva. His mind closed into a black hole.
The woman flashed her lantern around the farmyard searching
the pools of icy covered water. She saw something quiver in one of
the muddy pools. There it was again! The sight of human features…a
nose and mouth reflected in her light. She gasped and stared at the
semblance of a face barely above water. Cautiously, she walked toward
the unnatural muddy pool with its waters quivering and set her lantern
down. Slowly, she reached her hand down to touch the trembling mass,
and felt the icy cold face. Instinctively, she withdrew from the cold
touch of death.
“Was ist es?” she whispered to him. He didn’t hear her whispers. The
wind howled its lamentation and drowned out her words.
“Wer sind Sie? Herr, was ist zu ihnen geschehen?” she said in a little
louder voice.
“He’s dead!” she said and stood frozen at the sight. In the eerie glow
of her lantern, she saw the form start to convulse.
“Nein, he’s still alive! Wer sind Sie? Ach…mein Gott! My God!”
