There are 17 chapters in this book, which include a total of 930 questions. The chapters are organized as follows:
Chapter 1 Report Settings and Options: In this chapter questions relating to report settings are covered, this consists of subject matter relating to Report Options and Options settings which can be applied to reports prior to creation or during the report development stage. This chapter consists of 71 questions. At the end of this chapter the user will have been tested on the following report settings: Layout, Database, Format Editor, Reporting, Fields, Dependency Checker and Field setting.
Chapter 2 Creating a Datasource: In this chapter questions relating to the creation of data sources are covered. Creating a data source is the first stage of report development and must be implemented before designing a report. There are several datasource connections available including an ODBC or DSN connection. The main sample databases used to derive questions for this section are Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL Server. This chapter consists of 17 questions.
Chapter 3 The Database Expert: Questions in this chapter relate to the utilization of the Database Expert to create links between database tables, subject matter covered in this chapter includes links and joins types, setting a database location, mapping fields and creating new data sources. There are 67 questions in this chapter.
