The author eventually left his position after nearly 20 years as a business executive to pursue his lifetime ability to teach, heal, and work with humanity in the understanding of spiritual truth. He overcame his childhood fears of seeing spirits and angels, and given the gift of healing, he combined his talents to become a professor of metaphysics at the college level . He has appeared on numerous television programs, radio stations, and written many articles on Angels, energetic healing modalities, and Spiritual growth. Thousands have seen him for private consultations to understand and remove blockages in their lives caused by fears, past life issues, and to gain perspective in their life mission.
Our Guardian angels sometimes find it hard to believe how much energy and power we give to our fears. They also can’t believe how much energy and effort we place in trying to hide our fears. Let me share the first of many situations that will be discussed in this book regarding conversations between my clients and their Guardian angels.
A woman in her late fifties came to see me for a reading because her husband had recently passed away. Besides trying to deal with her grief, she also felt paralyzed and unable to move on with her life by herself. She told me that for two months after her husband’s death, she prayed to God every day, and asked that she be given the strength to move on and deal with all the new responsibilities presented to her. Her husband always handled the finances, took care of all the home repairs, to the point that she never even bothered to learn how to drive.
Her Guardian angel advised her that she still had many years ahead and that she had the free will to either remain frozen in her fear, or make steps to gain the knowledge which would assist her to provide for herself. The woman said she was better off dead than to attempt at her age to learn new things just to survive in solitude. Her angel explained that her husband’s soul was in transition and that he was in a situation similar to hers. He was afraid to move to the next level, leaving her alone, and unable to function in her life. So now, due to fear, she was stuck in her physical life and her husband was stuck in the spiritual realm. Her angel told her she was never alone, if she could start to let go of her fears, he would bring assistance in all the areas of her life. In return, her husband would also lose his fear, enter the spirit level with ease, and she would have the resources to gain back things in her life she felt had been lost. One of those things was to reconnect with her children and grandchildren which had become strangers over the last ten years. Her angel proceeded to ask her what her biggest fears were at this very moment. My client responded by saying that she was not able to handle the financial mess her husband had left behind, was not able to go anywhere unless someone drove her, and the overwhelming sense of loneliness she felt did not allow her to move forward. Her angel than reminded her of the following memories regarding her current life.
She was told how at the age of seventeen her father wanted to teach her how to drive and how she was so eager to learn but her mother did not feel this was safe. Her mother also believed women in general did not belong behind the wheel of a car and further discouraged her from driving. Again at twenty-one, the year she met her husband, he had an extra car in the garage which he offered to fix and give to her. He had offered to teach her to drive, but she said no, because she enjoyed the idea of having him drive her places. When her daughter gave birth to her first grandchild, her husband again wanted to teach her to drive, in case any emergency might arise. Her husband thought that if she drove, she would be able to help her daughter or granddaughter if anything went wrong and he was not accessible. Again she said no, she was afraid that if an emergency did come up, she would be so nervous driving she might have an accident. Her angel said, "Three times we placed an opportunity for you to learn to drive so that when this situation came up now, you would have one less thing to worry about." "The first time, you feared what your mother and society would think of you driving when most women at that time did not." " The second time you feared that if your husband did not constantly chaperone you he would lose interest in you." " Finally, the third time, you feared that you would be an inadequate driver and be useless in a stressful situation."
