Dr. Rev. Narayan Uchigaki
In “The Enigmatic Voice of God” the author outlines a path for bringing harmony into the world by awakening the dormant mythical character of human intelligence and by reconciling human behavior with nature.
The book is a tasteful blend of science, philosophy, history and religion. Poems by the author have been selected to elevate the spirits of the reader. Particularly fascinating are the author’s accounts of extraordinary experiences and revelations from a higher power.
The author was born in Japan, the son of Shinto ministers. He began his career as a Shinto and Hindu minister, then turned his attention to the needs of orphans and untouchables in India. During his stay in India, he advanced spiritually as a result of observing local religious rituals.
Rev. Uchigaki started his first book at age 28 and has published 20 books based on his philosophy. He founded the Nippon Vedanta Society in Japan in 1957, came to the United States in 1975 and founded an American chapter of the Society in 1977.
His contributions to philosophy and religion have been recognized widely. The most prestigious recognition is by the Japan Culture Promotion Association, which conferred its Social-Cultural Award to Rev. Uchigaki in 1995 with the words, "awarded to you as a true Man of Religion in recognition of your true teachings and religious austerities."
Transparent Dew
One drop of transparent dew fell.
A light shone on it and formed an angle.
And so a geometry not previously visible
Became apparent.
Transparency created transparency itself.
That was the flower, the Sun;
That was Time and Space.
Overlapping created sound, gravity, and color.
Also, life was born
Out of that overlap of geometry.
From the geometry of “now”
That flies where there is no time or space,
All was born and nurtured.
The universe is but one large drop.
…. As I have been saying for a long time, this “Myth” and mythical tales are totally different things. You need to have this understanding before we can proceed to the true nature of Myth. As in the words of Christian Gottlieb Heyne (1729-1812) and Friedrich W. J. Schelling (1775-1854) of Germany, “In order to know Myth, you must not enter through mythological stories, but you must raise your consciousness to the height of Myth.” Furthermore, this study of Myth is even more essential than the study of philosophy and religion; without accomplishing the study of Myth, mankind cannot be saved, because Myth and poetry are the essence and the source of humanity and the universe.
…. Thus the thing that comes after we realize Myth is true actualization. ....To clarify the nature of Brahman (the source of the universe), I have come up with the following equations. ....This equation was obtained through another revelation. ....The equations are the source of creation that brings forth the stunning diversity of the universe as we see it today; solving the intimate mysteries man has been attempting to decipher for a very long time. Such age-old questions that investigate the very beginning and embryonic stages of the universe; how something has come out of what appears to be nothing or void (mu); lastly not how, but why the universe is as it is.
