This book is for younger children, to teach them to talk to their parents about what is happening in their lives. Parents need to know where their children are and when they will return. As with Tommy, he runs away from his problem instead of talking to mom and dad. Hopefully, this book will have an impact on children and they will talk to their parents about what is bothering them. Even though they may be little they still need to have that assurance that their parent or guardian will be there for them.
My name is Sandy. I am married to Thomas Holburn Jr. and we live in Rhode Island.
We have a little white dog who is in the book named Roscoe. I was a preschool teacher with ChildCare Connection in Central Falls Rhode Island.
I became disabled and unable to work at the job I loved most. My husband Tom suggested that I try to write a children's book. It is my desire to continue teaching children through my book.
Children are our greatest asset and they are our future. I hope that this book will enrich the lives of the children that read it.
