About the Book

In this second chronicle about Deborah, she faces an enemy whose sole purpose is to kill every human being in the universe. The location of the enemy’s home planets is unknown. This enemy has unlimited ships and no concern about the high losses to their personnel. The initial evaluation is that the enemy may not even be human. They are given the name, Grays.

A creature like the Grays seems rather harmless compared to what fiction shows you.  The Grays went unchallenged only because they looked so weak and fragile.  No one saw them as a serious threat.  I can only think of the army ants on the march.  No one takes an ant seriously; however, an army of ants will devastate an area and kill every living creature.  The Grays are the same type of threat to mankind.

As the Grays are building up their fleets and personnel, Deborah desperately searches the known universe for additional personnel; in this search she even goes to primitive nations.  The United States strips its military forces to provide as many personnel as possible.  Despite this effort, there are still not enough personnel.

Deborah’s scientists are working around the clock to not only upgrade her weapons, but also provide her with new types of weapons.  Ramah and the United States are making a maximum effort to prepare for the upcoming battle with the Grays.

In this battle either the humans or the Grays will become extinct.

About the Author

Hi.  I hope you have been reading my web site.  I have been putting short chronicles on the site.  The short chronicles are from the material sent to me by the Nation of Light.  So far, I have only touched a small part of the material and have found chronicles for about twenty famous female military leaders.

The next chronicle is about Regina.  You’ll like it.  While Deborah had to establish her military fleet, Regina has an established fleet.  The problem is that this fleet is one step above a collection of tour ships.  Regina has to take this fleet and turn it into a fighting machine.  It’s an almost impossible task.  How does she do it?  She takes a brand new carrier, renames it Raptor, and engages any nation or pirate, who dares to invade her territory, or the territory of primitive planets.  She drives her Joint Chiefs right up the wall.  You really have to love her methods.  She is right in their face.

In this upcoming series there is Regina, Victoria, and Marina.

To those who liked Deborah, and I confess that I loved her chronicles, I found part of a Deborah 3.  The part I read was terrific.  I will hunt for the rest of the chronicle in my spare time.  I am hoping to publish it after the account of Marina.  Of course I have to find all the pieces.  I will keep you updated on my success as the great white paper hunter.

My web site is added to on a regular schedule.  Check the web site and enjoy my hard work.

Remember, from my web site you can order any of my printed chronicles directly from the publisher.

Harms Way

Deborah sat down at a communications center located in front of a large battle screen.

“Communications, connect me with the enemy fleet.”

“Yes, Your Majesty.”  She pushed two buttons.  “You’re connected.”

“I am Dagger, Queen of the Nation of Ramah.  My military forces protect these galaxies.  You fired on our patrol.  We are waiting for an explanation for your conduct.”

“I am the leader of this fleet.  We are flying through this galaxy.  If you interfere, we will destroy your ships and your planet.”

“Your Majesty, an emergency message from Colonel Simmons,” Communications reported.  “It’s on line two.”

Deborah hit the button.  “Dagger.”

“Deborah, there is another fleet of saucers coming in on your left flank.  Estimate is about 300,000.”

“Thanks, Bobbie.”

Deborah hit a red button on the com-board.

“This is Dagger.  All group leaders attack the enemy fleets.  You are authorized to use cluster nuclear missiles.  Destroy all ships.  Accept no surrenders.  Dagger out.”

“Nest, this is Pug.  Am attacking second fleet with 500 devastators.”

“Nest, this is Carrier fighter leader.  Am attacking first enemy fleet with fifty thousand fighters.”

“This is the Admiral.  Go get’em.  If they try to escape, chase’em down.  We don’t want to fight’em twice.”

The Planet Tira

Madro was watching the battle screen, while he was eating a commercial size tray of pork chops with a large bowl of mashed potatoes and gravy.

“Amazing.  She allows the group leaders to plan their own attack.  I have never seen any one allow this.”

“Maybe she doesn’t know military tactics,” his aide said.

“I’d say she’s a master of military tactics.  She has a long line of dead adversaries who underestimated her.

“The first fleet is almost totally destroyed.  Yet, her ships are attacking with the same ferocity, as they did in the first seconds of the attack.  Amazing.”

“We have a probe at the coordinates of the second fleet, Wise One,” his aide said.

“Switch to the second fleet.”

The aide hit a few buttons on the battle screen.

“Those ships are a hundred times more dangerous than the fighters.  What are they called?”

“Devastators.”

“Apply named.  This is going to make the Grays furious.  It’ll take them awhile to build more ships, but they’ll attack again in greater numbers.”

“Do you really think the Grays want to destroy the human race?” his aide asked.

“Yes, but they attacked the wrong planet, when they picked Earth.  Dagger set them back at least six months.  This good leader might be different than the others.”

Harms Way

Deborah watched the battle screen, as the fighters destroyed the last small groups of the enemy fleet.

“They’ll be back, Dad.  Launch probes to cover an area around Earth of five galaxies in all directions.  Have the forward patrol maintain its present pattern.”

“Okay,” her father said.

“Let the personnel still have time off on the island, but rotate the necessary crew for the carrier.  I’ll be staying at my home.”

“Okay.  I’ll stay on the carrier.”

“Dad, have Papa Bear send copies of the battle to the President and the Joint Chiefs.”

 “Okay, Deborah.”

The Pentagon

The Chairman called the Joint Chiefs to their conference room.

The Air Force General was the first to enter the room.  The Chairman was putting a CD into a 60-inch video screen.

“Is it from Dagger?” the Air Force General asked.

“Yeah, She’s near Ramah.  I don’t know what this is all about.  I doubt if it is an enemy invasion this close to Earth.”

The rest of the Joint Chiefs entered the room and had heard the Chairman’s last statement.  They sat down, and the Chairman turned on the set.

They watched the battle, and the total destruction of the two enemy fleets.

“There was half a million ships attacking Earth,” the Chairman said.  “Obviously, they were not just flying through the area.  We have no idea what is going on out there.”

“Dagger has probes and scanners out there, and they still got this close to us,” the Air Force General said.  “If they got any closer, they’d have been in our conference room.”

“It’s getting worst out there, rather than better,” the Marine General said.  “She’s taken out all the dictators around us, and they still keep coming.  Is the universe just filled with the bad guys?”

“Do we have an update on the list of good personnel that we can give Dagger?” the Chairman asked.  “Maybe we should increase the number of personnel.  This is much worst than what it was three months ago.”

“Yeah, and we thought that was a disaster,” the Admiral said.

“Go through your lists, and see if you can give her more troops,” the Chairman said.
