Wanda Gail Campbell
A whimsical tale with vibrant and colorful illustrations that call to the child
in all of us to take an interactive adventure:
As the
story moves through a magical land named Snappety Foo Pah, little creatures
known as Pinkleys discover how the power of love works to embrace those who are
different and often hard to understand. It is a story that promises to touch
the hearts of all who are willing to peek inside its colorful pages.
Reverend Wanda Gail Campbell, PhD serves as a
Minister of Peace in The Beloved Community with a specific focus on intercultural
peacemaking. Inspiration for this story came through her work in Huntsville as a volunteer
community clown. Little Buckets Full of Big Love delivers her passionate
message for a world that embraces equality, peace, and cultural diversity. She
is “tickled pink” to offer this loving story.
And about the Illustrator:
Carol Zukosky is an artist with heart.
She loves children of all ages, including the inner child. In her service
as a professional speech and language therapist in Tampa, Florida she has brightened
countless lives. Carol has a colorful, whimsical side that comes out to
play in the story that takes place in Snappety Foo Pah. She has
experienced the joy of drawing and painting since the age of three and she
highly recommends it for everyone. Carol glows a bright shade of purple when
she thinks of all the kids that find a new way to express love after
experiencing this book.
Today
I want to tell you about a magical village named SnappetyFooPah where little
creatures known as Pinkleys lived.
These
sparkly skinned creatures each carried a special little bucket from which BIG
LOVE could be shared.
Upon
meeting each other, Pinkleys stopped, looked deeply into the others eyes and
grinned.
Grinning
caused a thumpety thump thumping sound in the heart. It was a cue to share BIG
LOVE with a secret signal…
…Amazingly,
the more love is given away, the bigger love grows.
