IAN SPENCER
The sixteen year old Deborah watched her mother die. It was a peaceful death; a death that her mother had longed for after a lifetime of living in fear. Deborah left the hospital carrying the same burden that destroyed her mother.
Deborah was now the queen of a highly advanced nation located somewhere in the universe. The usurper of her mother’s throne would now hunt for Deborah with only one purpose—to kill her. Deborah must be killed, so the usurper can gain her full mental powers.
Deborah’s mental powers are just beginning to grow. Her mother looked at her own powers as a curse, and she would never talk about them.
Still grieving for her mother and confused about her mental powers, Deborah seeks out the help of a Colonel in Military Intelligence. The Colonel’s father had promised Deborah’s mother that he or his son would take care of Deborah.
She begins working with the Colonel on his intelligence cases, and her mental powers begin to grow at a phenomenal rate. After a few months she discovers that she is in a universe filled with evil plunderers, and their trails of destruction will lead them to Earth. Will one of them be the usurper?
A Note To My Readers
Hi, I’m Ian Spencer. On my web site, I have reports about facts, items of interest, and oddities that I find in the material sent to me by the Nation of Light. This information will not be in any of the accounts, but it is so interesting that I want to share it with you. I list these items on the web site as reports.
The Nation of Light also includes material to be formatted into short stories. I found the short stories very interesting. You can read them on line, or download them for future reading. Either way, they are free.
My books tell you about the great female military leaders in the universe. The information about each female has been given to me by the Nation of Light. This Nation is the most powerful nation in the universe, and has dedicated itself to developing key female leaders.
I was amazed to find out how many military leaders are also the queen of their nation, however none of them rule the civilian part of their nation. On my web site you will learn about the men and women who are working with these great female leaders. You will see how smoothly these powerful people work together as a team.
The first book I wrote from the material supplied by the Nation of Light was Cerah: Imprisoned In A Child’s Body.
This second book is the first account about Deborah in a series of two books. Following these two books is a three book series. The first book is about Regina, the second is about her daughter, Victoria, and the third book is about Victoria’s daughter, Marina. These three women are very powerful leaders. The most powerful is also the youngest, Marina. In my mind I named them the three queens.
On my web site you can purchase any of my books directly from the publisher.

Two hours after dawn an eight hundred foot long dull-black space ship hovered a mile above a small island in the Hawaiian chain. The ship silently descended into an isolated and uninhabited valley at the small end of the island. At the edge of the beach, hundreds of sea gulls were feeding on the small morsels of fish washing up on the shore. The morsels were the remnants of a school of fish attacked by sharks twenty feet off shore. As the ship silently landed near the edge of the beach, the sea gulls continued to eat.
A hatch opened on the side of the ship facing the land, and a ramp slid down onto the rich, black, soil. A young woman, visibly pregnant, walked down the ramp accompanied by an officer.
“Your Majesty, have you chosen a name for your daughter?” the officer asked. “We have to program the droids to obey her.”
“She''ll be called Deborah.”
“A beautiful name for the queen who will fulfill the purpose of my Nation and free your Nation from its enslavement.”
“Deborah will have tremendous obligations, Admiral.”
“Yes, she will, Your Majesty. On this planet, fortunately, she can grow up and develop her mental powers without any danger of your twin sister discovering her.”
“My twin sister will never stop searching for me. Now, to gain the full mental powers of the queen, she must not only kill me, but also Deborah.
“Admiral, you’ve been a good friend. I know you fear that Deborah might grow up to be just like my twin sister. Deep within me, I have the same fear.
“I made sure that Deborah’s mental powers would only increase as her love increases. If Deborah ever makes a selfish choice, her powers will wither and disappear. They will never return.”
The Admiral had a look of shock on his face. “One wrong choice and she loses everything!”
“Admiral, if Deborah once makes a selfish choice, she will never stop using her mental powers to gratify herself. Deborah will become just like my twin sister. Without her mental powers, Deborah will at least have a chance to become a normal, decent, person.”
“I understand, Your Majesty,” the Admiral replied. “Are you going to tell her about this?”
“No, it is a fail-safe for the protection of the universe. Deborah will have a far greater capacity to love than I do. Because of this capacity to love, she will far surpass my mental powers. If she doesn’t live in love, she will loose her mental powers.”
The Admiral nodded. “So as her love grows, her power grows.”
“Yes, Admiral.”
“You don’t expect her to ever get married, do you?”
“No, Admiral. You knew my husband. He was a very good man, but he couldn’t deal with my mental powers and my great need for love. Instead, he buried himself in his science.”
“He developed the ships we’ll give to Deborah. I guess that was the only way he could express his love for you.”
She smiled. “You are a wise man, Admiral. That’s how I looked at it, but it didn''t satisfy the emptiness and hunger within me. I think it’s easier to be alone, than to marry a man who cannot return your love.”
The Admiral nodded in agreement. “Will you tell her about this problem with your husband?”
“Yes.”
“That is a wise decision.”
“I put the history of Luxoria in the memory of the defense droid,” the Queen said, “and the history of Ramah, prepared by my husband, in the attack droid. The droids will only give Deborah this information, after she has demonstrated a consistent record of protecting the helpless planets.”
“Thank you, Your Majesty. After watching how evil my Nation has become, I could not bear the thought that I might be adding more evil to the universe.
“Did you want to talk to the owner of this island?”
“Yes, Admiral. I want to personally tell him of the obligation I want him to assume.”
The Admiral tapped a communication chip on the brim of his cap. “Connect me with patrol one.”
“You’re connected, sir,” Communications said.
“Pick up the owner of the island, and bring him to me.”
“Yes, sir.”
A little while later, the patrol ship contacted the Admiral. “We found the owner, and he’s very cooperative. We’ll be there in a few minutes.”
“Copy that,” the Admiral said, and waited for the ship.
The patrol ship landed and Stewart Rolands, the owner of the island, walked over to the Admiral and the Queen.
“We need your help,” the Admiral said.
“You scared the hell out of me,” Stewart replied.
“There was no way to avoid that,” the Queen said.
“These ships are not from Earth; what are you doing here?” Stewart asked.
“We want to build a house in this valley for a very special woman, my daughter. She’ll protect your Country and help you to remain a free people.”
“She’s going to live here?”
“Yes, but not for a long time.”
“Who are you?” Stewart asked the Queen.
“I am the Queen of the Nation of Ramah.”
“That’s the native’s name for this island,” Stewart said.
“Yes,” the Admiral said. “Long ago we had a Nation called Ramah on a series of islands in this area. An evil group, who took over our home Nation, destroyed all but this island. That was centuries ago. A small group escaped the attack and moved to a planet a few galaxies from Earth. We are dying out.”
“My daughter will use her tremendous mental powers to protect your Country and this planet,” the Queen said.
“Are you staying on Earth?”
“Yes, but if I die young, my daughter will be all alone. If I die before she is an adult, may I send her to you?”
“I would be glad to take care of her, but I am an old man. If you outlive me, would you want me to have my son take care of her? He’s a good man.”
“The natives recommended you and this valley, but they did not know the character of your son. My daughter will need someone to guide her in the use of her powers. Would your son be able to do that?”
“Yes, he is in the army and works in military intelligence. He knows the correct way to use power.”
“Tell your son what I have told you. I will tell my daughter to come to you, or your son.”
“How will we know her?”
“She will tell you that she is from the island of Ramah. Her name will be Deborah. Thank you. Now I must leave; my daughter will be born very soon. I must find a place to stay and a doctor.”
“I’ll have a patrol ship take you to the East Coast of the United States,” the Admiral said.
“Thank you, Admiral, for all your help.”
The Admiral and Stewart Rolands watched the ship leave for the East Coast.
“It’ll take us about two weeks to build the house and gardens,” the Admiral said.
“Who do you want to maintain it?” Stewart asked.
“Only the natives. Those maintaining the house and grounds may live here. You and your son may come here to check on everything, but you can’t live here. Do you accept these terms?”
“Yes.”
“Thank you. I’ll have a ship take you back to your home.”
After Stewart left, the Admiral sent four officers out to examine the valley. A few hours later, they gathered outside the ship for a debriefing. The Admiral nodded to one of the officers for a report.
“The mountain on the south side of the valley is perfect. We can cut a two square mile cavern into it without any problem.”
“Good. That’s the most important part of our mission.”
The Admiral nodded to an officer on his left.
“We found an ideal location for the house.”
“How long will it take to build?”
“Four days.”
“Do your best. When Deborah grows up, she must destroy two of the most horrendous Nations in the universe.”
“Yes, sir,” they said, and the officers went to gather their crews.
The group stayed sixteen days. When they left, there was a large white house in the middle of a beautiful garden. The house was only two hundred feet from the hidden entrance to the vast cavern in the mountain.
