Nappy, raw, rugged truth (is good) Is Ethnic expression and if nothing else, it’s like the b-sides to real life situations – the side we know about and forget about. For some it’s the side we choose to ignore. Nappy is good is our reminder. Also encompassed are my conjectures, my views on different social issues and events. Nappy is good is simply a way to state; more than one way to look at it.
Co-titled conversation piece because there are different subjects germane to our living as a culture and amiable views that can be identified by a variety. Forces us to put things into perspective by offering tasteful topics for thought and discussion. This is the doctor for troubled relationships. It’s education. It’s inspirational and drives the thought process at records speeds. It’s education, it’s history that we witnessed while in the making. What some of us fail to retain is that history is the story, the reason why things are the way they are today.
So if you like poetic expression, this is for you; if you enjoy spending that “me” time reflecting, this is what you need; if you readily accept challenge, this book is for you; if you thrive on good conversation and polished opinions, this definitely is the book for you.
Devon Callahan is an expressive native from Washington D.C. He’s in tune with his work. It’s like art when his pen hits the pad. The power of the pen, as he was told, is incredible. What’s so amazing is that his work breathes marketing success in the way that some of everybody can identify with it.
This admired author in his early years was a prized asset. He wrote for local papers, drama clubs and authored four unreleased novels. Here, he brings you the thought-provoking Nappy is Good, which tenders his social views. This project puts him out there, giving the reader a taste of his forth-coming releases at the same time. Devon’s work is definitely worth a read.
It’s just a part of my thing. Every woman that I’ve ever developed something true with had to be something. She first had to have good conversation. Hot coffee and conversation was like breakfast for me. The lady that I’m with has got to offer ample portions. Communication is the gateway to learning. In conversing you may learn something you didn’t know before – then again you may learn something about yourself.
I want to be able to be stimulated mentally and I want to be able to share that wealth with the people down the road from here. The good thing with conversing is that in most cases you are sharing amongst different personalities that are bound to process information differently. This is very necessary. This allows you to judge and examine from different perspectives.
Conversation should provoke some thought as with this section. Conversation is about us. It’s about the difference in opinion. Think about how many relationships fall apart due to lack of. How many operations fail because one didn’t thoroughly understand? Communication/Conversation/Difference of Opinion, is what gives the world flavor. It’s what makes a pretty face that much more admirable. It’s you and me and everything around us.
While reading, I hope this section will inspire you to push healthy thoughts. Hopefully it will drive you to nudge healthy arguments in the workplace. Maybe the number of affable debates will increase. I’d like to think that this section could promote a cool kind of openness at home.
