I’ve Been
I’ve been to the toppermost of the poppermost
It was a fine time indeed
But eventually reality intrudes
I must concede
John Kennedy was shot in Dallas
The assassins got away
It’s something that bothers me
To this day
Can you see them running
They could still be there
They could be around the corner
They could be everywhere.
