Soly Paraiso
This book is a compilation of articles and poems I have written over the years –some are personal experiences, some seasonal topics, some commentaries and some open letters.
I humbly acknowledge that this book is inspired by all the teachings from spiritual teachers that I came across over the years in my search for the meaning of life.
In this initial book, I hope to impart to my dear readers some lessons I have learned from personal observations, but most importantly, lessons culled from some of the greatest minds the world has ever produced of whom I have the most profound admiration and respect.
May these lessons teach us how to live a wonderful, happy and meaningful life in a virtually perfect world which we ourselves create.
Soly P. Paraiso is a freelance writer in San Diego, California. She has been writing articles even when she was still in the Philippines which were published in some local newspapers there. She is presently a regular contributor to the Filipino Press, a Philippine newspaper in San Diego, California.
Soly P. Paraiso is a holder of a Certificate for Freelance Journalism and Short Story Writing from the International Correspondence Schools –London, England.
Her poem, E-Friends won a silver trophy from the International Society of Poets, was published in an Anthology called “ Riches Of The Night” in 2002, was among several poems recorded in CDs and tapes and was awarded an Editor’s Choice Award .
She lives in Chula Vista, California with her daughter, Venus, son-in-law, Steve and grandson, Christopher.
Her greatest dream is to share what she has learned from all the books and tapes that she has read and listened to, with her family, her friends, and with everyone who dreams of a perfect world.
The thoughts in this book are just that-random. So you can open this book on any page at random. No need to read it from the beginning to the end. But I assure you within some of its pages you will discover a golden nugget, a pearl of wisdom, an open secret which I endeavored to encapsulate with the express intention of helping you, my readers, find that elusive inner peace and contentment that you really want in life.
