Bob McLeod is a songwriter, guitarist and singer who travels the world sharing the love of God with people from all walks of life. He has authored and published numerous articles, music albums and books. Bob is frequently interviewed on TV and radio and is experienced as a motivational speaker for a variety of age groups.
He is founder and director of Our Father’s Arms, a living and retreat center located in the Appalachian foothills of NE Alabama. It’s a place of restoration and healing for individuals and families in crisis.
Bob and his wife Patti make their home near Jacksonville, Alabama.
There is a breakfast cereal called Alphabits. Each little piece is a letter of the alphabet. Imagine reaching into a box of Alphabits, grabbing a big handful, and throwing them on the floor of your kitchen without any consideration of where they go.
As you’re dusting off your hands, you notice something very peculiar. You can’t believe it! Some of those little pieces of cereal you threw to the floor are in perfect alignment. On your kitchen floor you see your name spelled out, followed by “I LOVE YOU.”
“No, this can’t be real! This must be a dream!” you think. “I must be seeing things!”
A friend comes into the kitchen. You explain to him what has just happened as you show him the letters on the floor.
“You’re joking with me,” your friend says. “You put those letters there.”
“No, I’m not joking,” you insist. “I know it sounds crazy, but those letters did that all by themselves......I think!”
Why is that so unbelievable? Why doesn’t your friend accept what you tell him? It’s very simple. Here’s why: Order cannot come out of disorder. For there to be order, there must be intelligence behind it. That’s why your friend thought you put those letters in place. He assumed you were the mind behind the design.
All of the order in our Universe- all of the intricate design and expression of life around us and in us- is a constant reminder that there is indeed an intelligent Creator.
It’s impossible for order to come out of chaos. Behind all order there must be intelligence.

20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities- his eternal power and divine nature- have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
EXERCISE:
Pay particular attention to the living world around you and in you. Notice the sights, sounds, and order of His creation. Notice how your body heals itself. You were created. Think about it.
