About the Book

This book is a collection of the thoughts of the author.  The range of poems are from make believe to spiritual. The lyrics are mostly about love one way or another.  You might want to read this book if you like poems about God, love, struggles of mankind, children, and things hard to categorize.  This book is also good if you are a musician, or someone looking for lyrics for a project.  I hope this book makes you think, wonder, and question all the things in you life and your world.

About the Author

My name is Timothy A Davis I drive a truck for a living. The title of the book is the nickname I have had all my life. I have a wife Illene sons Heath, and Shawn a daughter in law Alisha, and grandson Matthew, and granddaughter on the way. I come from a large family five brothers and two sisters. My family has always been spiritual, and God was always first in our life. This is my first stab at a book, hopefully not my last. Some of poems have been published in different anthologies, such as Colours Of The Heart, Famous Poets Society, Noble House, Patterns Of Life by Iliad press just to name a few. I am collaborating with people on some of my lyrics and am always looking for more people to connect with.

JUSTICE IN PHILLY

Why is it always about race

When any man is on his face.

He could have a record as long as him arm

All they worry is doing him harm.

Why isn’t it about good and evil?

Why is justice so medieval?

They put their life on the line everyday,

Just so you and me can have a say.

What would we do without this person around?

Anarchy, I think would be abound.

When they say stop, you should listen

Or right you have will soon be missing,

We as people must do are all

To help the ones that takes the call.

We need these people for a guarantee,

That our society will be safe and free.

So lets not jump up and down,

When any man is on the ground.

Do we want to live in fear?

Always looking to the front or rear.

Sometimes they get over zealous,

With TV, camera’s they will embellish.

So lets not over react, until we get the facts

Good or evil should we look,

Break the law you will be booked

It’s a shame it’s about race

Could be you and me down on our face

LIFES REALITY

Our lives are reality we have to endure

Whether your rich whether your poor

For some reality is in their dreams

Living a fantasy where nothing is as it seams

Reality for some is living in a car

Some escape in the local bar

The reality is there is war all around

Too many violent people in all our towns

Reality is starving children in every country

People forgetting what they can not see

Reality is not a great picture for some

Going through life as though they are numb

Reality can and is a frighten thought

Many escape in illusions of dreams they sought

For too many reality is a life of torment

So to little few life is fortunate

Reality is and will be here and now

This life is your reality enjoy it somehow

Reality for some is to know Heaven waits

Ending the misery that many contemplate
