About the Book

What happens when a 21st Century woman gets transported back to 12th Century England?  She butts heads with her ‘rescuer’.  That’s what.

When Kit wakes in the past she has no choice but to go with the knight that stands before.  The sword at her throat determines that.  With absolutely no idea on how to return home, Kit will be called upon to use every bit of strength and love to stay alive long enough to do so.  Even with Marcus’ help it might not be possible.

Will these two lovers find a way to be together for all time?  Can Kit trust that once made, it will never be broken?  Perhaps.  It is after all, A KNIGHT’S VOW.

It was the battle cry that startled her.  Deafening and bone chilling.  It rose up from the giant’s throat, pierced the air and momentarily froze her as still as a block of ice.  His horse moved forward at the sound.

She gave Ares the command to run as she placed her body in front of him.  Ares was torn between protecting his friend and listening to her order.  The uncommonly large horse and rider were getting closer, when she saw him getting ready to throw his rope she acted.

The rock left her hand and with amazing alacrity found its mark.  She hit him dead on the wrist of the hand that twirled the rope.  He dropped the rope and cursed.  When he saw her he cursed again and drew his sword.  He was now focused on Kit.  Marcus gained on her quickly when all of a sudden the fog came back in with a vengeance.  He plowed forward and when he got to where they had been the horse had vanished, seemingly swallowed up by the fog.  Only the human was left.

Kit wondered if this wasn’t just a dream.  A man, a giant of a man, with a sword was coming straight at her.  Oh this was just too much.  The valley had disappeared and she was by some cliffs and a stream.  The man was in front of her sword drawn and pointing at her, the blade was aimed directly at her throat. If a blade could talk this one said that it wanted to taste her blood.
