Life Is, a Rose
Throughout life
We go through precious moments
As smooth as silky rose petals
Wanted births, cherished moments
Appreciating loved ones and nature
Achievements, accomplishments
Dream vacations and precious dreams
During some other stages
We go through trying times
Illness of self, family and/or friends
Death of close and dear people
Sometimes expected, others drastically unforeseen
Cherished memories so painful at first
Pain in your heart as sharp as a thorn
Leaves in general, represent hope
Hope and faith will help us pass
Pass many tests and trials
That will come our way
The stem represents our daily lives
Responsibility, reliability
Obligation and cooperation
Good values and great expectations
Just think for a moment and reflect
Life is, a rose
