This enchanting book breaks literary ground with evocative tales and lyrical works.

Open the gate to the garden’s exquisite beauty.

Sometimes startling, full of joy, it is unafraid to address social injustice, abandonment, addiction, loss, rebirth, hope and redemption. With both imagination and courage this work can enrich the soul.

Now it is time to enter the garden.

Ivy Rose Nightscales (she of the poetic, English name) proves that she has the sensitivity and lyrical ability to craft fine literary work with this marvelous book.

Born in London, England she experienced the blitz as a young child. At the age of nine she immigrated to Canada with her parents and brother. At twenty-seven she moved to the United States.

Among her life experiences she frequently became involved in social causes such as women’s rights, civil rights, the anti-war movement as well as other issues. (She once interviewed the Black Panthers.)

As a single parent she put herself through school and graduated with commendations from Antioch University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts.

She has always loved writing and her literary voice – fresh and brave – needs to be heard.
