Dr. Xavier Azar, D.D.S., M.P.H. a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist wishes to share Sammy and Ginger’s passion for oral healthcare with children and their parents. Good oral health is the basis of children’s overall health. Prevention, early detection and treatment of dental diseases are essential to their development. Dr. Xavier Azar is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. After graduating from Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery and the School of Public Health, Dr. Azar completed two years of advanced pediatric training and education. As a leading pediatric dentist, Dr. Azar provides both primary and specialty comprehensive preventative and therapeutic oral health care for infants and children through their adolescent years. In 1998 Dr. Azar established his private practice in Bay Harbor Islands, Miami.
With The Health Captains – The Tooth Galaxy Mission Dr. Azar wishes to offer young patients a smart and fun way to learn about oral care. Dr. Azar is also the author of When the Tooth Fairy Is Not Enough presenting parents with useful tips and information on children’s dental care.

Sammy and Ginger’s responsibility is to help children grow up healthy. In the Tooth Galaxy their mission is to keep the teeth happy and in good shape, defending them from the attacks of their worst enemies: Astro-Plaque, Astro-Germ, Astro-Virus and Astro-Bacteria.
