There once was a dear women named Anna. She gave love...tender, joyous. and sweet. She never said a discouraging word. She walked fast on her little, short feet. Anna got up eacch morning about half past six. She was speeding, quickly, here and there. She always served her dear husband, Paul, in small dishes while he sat in his chair. She'd put on her earrings and color her lips. Then she'd sit in her rocker, to rock just a bit. Paul collected large and small ticking clocks. Many he made by hand, so proudly, they never did quit. Anna would drink her glass of soda pop, put on her shoes and glasses, then look around the room. On her shelves sat green and yellow ceramic frogs, brass elephants, and ticking clocks did loom. She collected many interesting things, for sure. No spot was left to place them all...It really needed to end. What she valued most dearly of all in life was her collection of wonderful, sweet friends. Friends, both far and near, would gather round her. She felt so special, warm, wonderful and glad.. They'd give her brass elephants, and green ceramic frogs, ticking clocks on the walls...was this a silly fad? She had collections to remind her of loving friends. But, nobody knew what she was about to say. "I don't even like frogs that much. Why do people always give me frogs? I wonder why? I pray.........................................
