As I prepared to write this book, I prayed to God that it would be a success. I believed that he would work it out, as I stepped out on faith. You, who are about to read this book, prepare to be spiritually blessed of God through his divine words that he has given me to give to you. It’s a ministry within itself to be able to put into words what God has shown you in vision. God has given all of us a ministry to fulfill, one that places a source of joy in our hearts. God has revealed to me that Christians have a duty to spread the message of the gospel through their various ministries. We must let the world know that He is alive. We are to lift Him up in praise and bear witness of the light. In doing so, we allow those that are in darkness to see the light and believe in him.
In The Past:
BEN was born in St. Louis, Mo. At the age of 8 his mother enrolled him in CASA, a Conservatory School of Fine Arts in St. Louis. He attended Casa for eleven years where he studied different styles of music, theory and drumming such as classical, ragtime, folk, medieval, Latin jazz, big band and concert under the direction of Mr. Glenn (PAPA) Wright. While attending CASA he was exposed to several professional areas of gospel music and played with some of the best artists in gospel such as John P. Kee, Marvin Winans, BeBe & CeCe, Keith Staton, The Clark Sisters, Beau Williams, Helen Baylor, Yolanda Adams, the late James Moore, and the late Brenda Waters, among many others. Before moving to Houston in 1991, he worked at Shalamar Studios as a studio drummer and teacher for two years. He has played for many black gospel stage plays as well as for crusades, conventions and conferences which are host to such individuals such as T.D. Jakes, Rick Joiner, Dr. Handby, Creflo Dollar and Don Meares. While living in Houston, he has made guest appearances on several television stations such as BET, TBN, Daystar as well as Bobby Jones Gospel and Houston‘s own Debra Duncan Show. He was a judge for the National Drum Off competitions for five years for Guitar Center and Mars Music Stores under James Douglas. Among other things, in 2003 BEN’s sports clothing line design was approved and had participated in the World Olympics, which was endorsed by Mary Onyali who currently holds the Gold & Bronze for the 100 & 200 meters in the World Olympics.
Present:
Currently BEN is a member of ASCAP, and has written over 500 songs in past three years. To date he has released a total of (13) Gospel CD’s in the form of Gospel Jazz, Rap and Praise & Worship. In 2003 and 2004 he released “Jazz According To Gospel” Chapter’s 2, 3, and 4 as well as “Where My Soldiers At Christians ” a gospel rap CD. In 2005 BEN released “Jazz According To Gospel New Birth” & another gospel jazz CD which he dedicates to our troops at war entitled “Off The Chain” featuring St. Louis own James Matthews, a great jazz pianist. He just released a soundtrack CD titled “Regretful Decision” for the film “Regretful Decision” written by Elson Williams III. The film premiers in Chicago, IL on April 20th 2005. In addition BEN has released his praise and worship CD titled “Let’s Worship” dedicated to the Stellar Award winner the late Brenda Waters which features some great gospel singers. In Texas, he co produced a gospel TV show called “Inspire The Desire” which he plans to film in St. Louis featuring local gospel talents. In 2006 BEN started Heavy Bass Records which has released (5) CD’s, two gospel jazz CD’s entitled “The Best Of BEN” & “Night Praise”. One gospel rap CD entitled “Stop The Madness”, a gospel CD entitled “No Broken Promises” featuring Penny Diamond, and one compilation CD entitled “Unity Gospel Compilation Volume #1” featuring some of the artist signed with Heavy Bass Records. God made Lucifer his mouthpiece, he was designed strictly for praise and worship and he was also the anointed cherub that covered everything. Lucifer was the only angel that was a solid mass, every other angel was supernatural beings of light and partakers of God’s eternal light. The other angels were not allowed to go through the atmosphere between heaven and earth. Lucifer was the only angel that God gave full authority and full access. He was the only angel that traveled from God’s dwelling place, (the Garden of Eden) down the holy mountain of God, to the second heaven where the other angels dwelled. Also, he could go down through the atmosphere to earth. He was the anointed Cherub that covereth. He ran everything; he was God’s head angel, and God’s personal mouthpiece.
Lucifer got so caught up into the glory of the praise and worship, that he forgot whom the praise and worship was for. He got so caught up into the praise and worship that he forgot what he was designed for. So much so, that he rebelled against God and all the rebel angels that joined with him fell by their own evil will.
Some of the stones that were on Lucifer’s covering gave off a bright light. Even though we can’t see stars shine in the daytime, Lucifer was called the Morning Star because of his brightness. And when the people on earth (Neanderthal men, cave men etc.) saw Lucifer, they knew it was time for praise and worship. The angels in heaven participated in the praise and worship, because Lucifer was the chief angel. He was like the Minister of Music that we have in our churches today. Everyone followed Lucifer’s direction into praise and worship.
In this section, we are going to paint a picture to show what Lucifer did, how he bragged on himself to everyone about what he was going to do and how he was going to be larger than God. He spread this information everywhere that he went. We are going to show you that God was so angry with Lucifer that he reminded him whom he was and who created him before he destroyed him. Lucifer really messed up, he allowed his on selfish will to alter his thinking process. He forgot the purpose that God had specifically designed for him, that it caused him hell bound destruction.
In Ezekiel 28:1, God is speaking to Lucifer and getting ready to destroy him, “Thou has been in Eden the Garden of God”. Eden was God’s dwelling place in heaven before it was on earth. It was on the holy mountain of God in the highest part of heaven in the North. So between God’s dwelling place and the angels dwelling place, there’s a mountain, God’s holy mountain. On the holy mountain, there’s a pathway to get from top to the bottom consisted of the stones of fire. And, the only angel that could walk up and down this pathway of stones and fire was Lucifer. Lucifer was the only one who had full access to walk up the holy mountain of God through the stones of fire to God’s dwelling place, Eden.
