Stewart Bentley is a former Army paratrooper and military intelligence officer. His interest in Operation Market-Garden dates back to 1978 when he first visited the Market-Garden battlefield as a teenager. A 1984 graduate of the Citadel, this book is derived from his 1996 Master's thesis written at the Joint Military Intelligence College He is currently a private security contractor, and living in Lorton, Virginia with his wife and partner, Patricia.
