My title claims, “Learn the 50 States in a Day!” This is not hype or wishful thinking. I have a 100% success rate of teaching my methods in person.
In person it has always taken me less than two hours to teach all 50 states and have people repeat them back to me from memory.
Does this sound too good to be true? Give my method a try. I honestly believe you will learn the 50 states in a day if you read my book and follow my instructions, and I am prepared to back up what I say.
I am willing to teach in person to schools, libraries, social study groups, teacher associations, or any other group interested in learning my method of learning the 50 states.
I plan on making my method “The Way” the states, capitals, and map locations are taught to our school children.
Why take a year to teach or learn the state information with gimmicks or songs, when our children soon forget it? Our schools need better methods. Can you name the 50 states? I’m sure you learned them. Learn and retain them… my way!

The author of this book was a 12-year-old child who dreamed of teaching other children a simple method of learning the 50 states, capitals, state nicknames, and where all the states are located on the map, and how to remember all the state information once they learned it.
A big dream for a 12-year-old, but Melodie A. Moore never gave up her dream of someday making her methods “The Way” American school children would learn all the state information required by their schools.
Melodie has always been confident that her methods work, but unfortunately she relied on others to help make her dreams come true. Finally, after 38 years of waiting, Melodie realized if her dreams were ever to become a reality it was she who must make them happen! Did you know that currently school children are given up to a year to learn the 50 states, and they forget them soon afterwards? What a waste of time and effort!
I challenge you. Ask a child to name all 50 states from memory. After spending an hour with Miss Melodie A. Moore in person, I know they could do it! I have seen it done many times. I even saw her teach a special needs child all 50 states in less than two hours. The child’s mother was amazed!
Melodie explained the reason it took her so long to teach that 8-year-old special needs child was a communication problem. Melodie could not easily understand the child, but the child understood her! That was evident by the way the child rattled off all 50 states and was anxious to go show her father what she knew. Notice, I said knew, because this child was tested, and she got peeved when asked a trick question. She really knew the 50 states, and she knew she knew them! Her mother was astonished! This occurred at the public library in New Boston, Ohio.
Incidents like the so-called special needs child are heartwarming, and they reinforce my confidence in Melodie. I hope you will join me in proving to the world that Melodie’s methods do indeed work, and they should be taught to our school children.
