Blue Moons & Purple Stars
Blue moons and purple
stars of make believe
out of time, out of space, yellow dreams
looking glass upon the wall who’s to say?
Here and now, now and then, yesterday?
Have the lines
crossed the never ending mind?
Doing the undone unkind?
Seeping through the willows of the sea
laughing witches of the make believe
Cruising demons on
silver wings in crying snow
whisking through the autumn blue run after me
Conquered time to realize the thoughts you’d know
Receiving dreams, receiving dreams of make believe
Blue moons and purple
stars of make believe
out of time, out of space, yellow dreams
looking glass upon the wall just who’s to say?
Here and now, now and then, yesterday?
Wrestling a Troubled Mind
Wrestling with a troubled mind
remembering the time when you first analyzed it
A young and troubled free mind
in a once carefree society
With social issues you once cared about,
but now you wrestle with a troubled mind
Troubles that seem too much to bear
remembering when you were able to handle them
not wanting to care about or even listen to
someone else’s problems
Do you sort through each and every problem
in trying to solve them all?
Is it your mind that’s sick,
sort of a stomachache that comes and goes?
Does a sick mind get better?
So many questions for so many problems
Solutions are out there, but some remain
unsolved
Why do people always wonder and ask what’s
wrong?
Do the problems show on my face or in my actions?
Do I have to justify every problem to anyone
who asks?
Who knows anymore and who cares for that matter
Will anyone understand what it is I’m trying to convey?
