“God, Hi. It’s me, Natalie. Please love me and protect me and my big brother. God tomorrow is Christmas. Santa will be stopping by all of the houses of the good kids. God, I am begging you to please let Santa stop by here. I know I have not been the best little girl but I promise to try harder. God, you know I still don’t have anything nice to say about Nana, so I won’t say anything bad. God, if I had the chance to choose getting everything I want for Christmas or living here with Momma, I would choose Momma.I still love you and I hope you still love me. Amen!” Natalie prayed.
“Hi God. It’s me, Chance. I know you haven’t heard from me in a while. I stopped talking to you because I just gave up on me and my sister ever being happy in life. I just want to tell you I’m sorry. Thank you for letting us come here to be with Momma for Christmas. I just want to ask you to please allow Santa to be good to Natalie this Christmas. She deserves it. She is a good girl. Let her get all of the things she wants. God, I used to ask you to allow me Nat, and Momma be a family, but I don’t ask that anymore because I know it will never happen. I do want to ask you to please always allow me and my baby sister to stay together. Amen!” Chance prayed.

About the Book
A True Story; Brother and Sister ( Natalie and Chance) endures a courageous battle with abuse when their birth Mother ( Joann Gilmore) is forced to give custody to her Mother Ester Jones ( AKA- Nana), after The Department of Family and Children removed them from her home.
Life for Natalie and Chance takes a dreadful twist when Ester deviously enforces her household rules. Life for Natalie and Chance will never be the same. Natalie and Chance struggle with unfathomable emotions of feeling worthless, unloved and uncared for. Changes began to evolve after Natalie unveils an enormous family secret.
Meanwhile, Chance battles with insecurities with regards to his individuality and self-worth.
As both, Natalie and Chance pray to be reunited with their Mother Joann; nothing could have equipped them for the journey along the way. Neither of them were ready for the harsh reality that life would convey to them. This story is an account of courage crying for freedom, and an everlasting union of love shared between brother and sister. After enduring deceit, secrets, exploitation, and hatred, what lies beneath the surface of their souls? Will they both adhere to faith and the power of prayer, or will they snap from the substance of life?
About the Author
About the Author I enjoy writing. I believe it is my God-given passion. I recently turned 40 and feel this is one of my greatest accomplishments to-date. Currently, I am a small business owner. I obtained my license to sell insurance in 2005 for the state of Florida- soliciting Life, Health, and Annuity sales. I was also previously licensed to sell insurance for the state of Georgia I am married with three beautiful children. The decision to expose “My Life’s Story was one of the hardest decisions of my life, but if it will change the life of someone for the better, and give them hope for a fruitful future, it has been all worth it. My goal with this novel is to show that regardless of what life may throw at you “God can bring you through it”. My belief is that you never have to live your life feeling like a victim. You can be Victorious! I am currently working on 3 more projects to be released in February of 2012. One of which, will be the Sequel to my first Novel “Silent Screams”.
